A new factory was established at Templeburg Industrial Estate site at Panagoda, in Homagama, 25 kms away from the City of Colombo. This factory is located in a 8093 square meters site and is developed as a fully equipped manufacturing facility, with an installed capacity to produce 20,000 water pumps per month.

The pumps produced at this factory are a range of Domestic, Agricultural and Industrial models, which are supplied to our corporate customers, for marketing Island wide.

The well equipped foundry has a melting capacity of 5,000 kgs, per day, and cast iron products from 200g to 400 kgs could be made at this unit.The foundry is also capable of making aluminum, brass and Copper items.The raw castings are processed to fine quality finished products in the shot blasting machine and then machined to required specifications.

The finished components and parts are then sent to the modern paint booth for painting as required by the different brands, and then sent to the production department for manufacturing of the water pumps.

The assembly line at the Factory is semi-automated and 100% pneumatically operated. In this line production, all quality concepts are followed, and quality control checks are made during motor assembly, pump set assembly, testing of the pumps etc.

The total process of activities of the factory, from planning of materials, to production and completion of the finished product is closely monitored by the R&D department, to ensure the completed products are according to required standards and quality.

The assembled goods are sent to the finished goods section, for final checks and packing, for dispatch to the stores.
